A contract for the marriage of Anne of Saxony and Henry II 'The Lion', Duke of Mecklenburg, Herr von Mecklenburg, Stargard, & Rostock was signed on 6 July 1315 at Kraak, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.2 Anne of Saxony married Henry II 'The Lion', Duke of Mecklenburg, Herr von Mecklenburg, Stargard, & Rostock, son of Sir Heinrich I, Herr von Mecklenburg-Wismar and Anastasia of Pomerania, on 6 January 1317 at Dömitz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.2 Anne of Saxony and Henry II 'The Lion', Duke of Mecklenburg, Herr von Mecklenburg, Stargard, & Rostock obtained a marriage license on 5 September 1318 at Avignon, Provence-Alpes-Côtes d'Azur; Date of Dispensation.2 Anne of Saxony died on 22 November 1327; Buried at Wismar.2
