Ann was born March 21, 1912, in Berthoud, Colo., the sixth of nine children born to Conrad and Anna Weber Hohnstein. The family moved to Portland in 1924. She is survived by daughters, Janice Roberts (Bruce) of Northfield Minn; Kathleen Lewis (Jerry) of Tiburon, Calif; and Mary Ellen Rowe of Portland. She also leaves six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces and a nephew in Portland. She will be greatly missed. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2009, in the Northfield Retirement Center Chapel in Minnesota.
