Vivian (Pierce) Wescott was born March 13, 1918, to Elvera Halen Sundstrom and Henning Sundstrom outside of Deary, Idaho. She married Alvin L. Pierce in 1937. Alvin Pierce died in 1964, and she married Walter Wescott. She was a lifelong resident of Idaho living in Park, Elk River, Deary and Moscow.

Vivian's working career included a clerk at the Deary Mercantile; a pastry cook at the Gem Coffee Shop in Moscow; the primary cook at a Blister Rust Camp in Headquarters, Idaho; and retired after several years working as a baker in food service at Washington State University in Pullman, Wash.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She faithfully attended church services wherever she lived and served the Lord throughout her life.

Vivian was preceded in death by her second husband, Walter Wescott and son, Larry Pierce (2006). She is survived by her son, Garry Pierce (Carolyn), of Spokane; daughter, Patricia (Larry) McBride of Troy; and step-daughters, Barbara (Herb) Nakata of Pullman; and Peggy Riordan of Philadelphia, Pa. She has 10 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Troy Nazarene Church or Good Samaritan Village. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date, weather permitting.

Wade Owen Caudill passed suddenly at his home in Waterboro, Maine. Raised in Spokane, parents Michael (deceased) and Darlene Caudill with siblings Gail (deceased), Joyce (Ed), Kelly (Doreen), Jeff (Candy) of Spokane and Roy (Suzanne) California.

Survived by sons Shane (Kerrie), Nick, one granddaughter and ex-wife Robin (NV), two nieces and two nephews.

Preceded in death by grandparents David and Elsie Caudill, Ted and Helen Freeman.

Graveside services to be held at Marshall Cemetery, Saturday, September 26th at 11 am.
