Joan le Latimer was born circa 1300 at of Winterbourne, Gloucestershire, England; A kinswoman or sister of Sir William le Latimer, 3rd Lord Latimer of Corby, Northamptonshire.² She married Sir Ralph Basset, 2nd Lord Basset of Weldon, son of Sir Richard Basset, 1st Lord Basset of Weldon and Joan de Huntingfield, circa 1316; They had 4 sons (Richard; Ralph; John; & Thomas) and 2 daughters (Joan, wife of Thomas de Aylesbury; & Eleanor, wife of Sir John Knyvet).^2,3 Joan le Latimer married Sir Robert de Fourneux before 1346.^2,3 Joan le Latimer died after 30 April 1348.^2,3
